Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 217 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, the lowest number since July 23th, bringing the total death toll to 120,880.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to October 02, 2021, 5,611,700 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,075,482 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 10,135 cases, out of whom 1,673 patients were hospitalized.

5,802 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 32,411,004 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 16 cities are red, 198 are orange, 176 are yellow, and 58 are blue zones.

So far, 40,063,570 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 16,532,554 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 56,596,124 doses.
