Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that COVID-19 235 death cases had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 120,663.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to October 1, 2021, a total number of 5,601,565 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,053,551 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 14,525 cases, out of whom 2,123 patients were hospitalized.

5,841 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 32,306,789 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 16 cities are red, 198 are orange, 176 are yellow, and 58 are blue zones.

So far, 39,418,779 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccines, 16,408,496 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 55,827,275 doses.
