Iran logs 268 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that 268 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 120,248.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 30, 2021, 5,587,040 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,031,692 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 14,078 cases, out of whom 1,891 patients were hospitalized.

5,093 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 32,196,441 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 16 cities are red, 198 are orange, 176 are yellow, and 58 are blue zones.

So far, 38,708,642 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 16,272,799 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 54,981,441 doses.
