Iran logs 317 COVID deaths within 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that 317 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 118,508.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 23, 2021, on Thursday, 5,493,591 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,872,865 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 16,362 cases, out of whom 2,202 patients were hospitalized.

6,586 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 31,437,588 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 57 cities are red, 238 are orange, 136 are yellow, and 17 are blue zones.

So far, 33,343,104 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 14,938,853 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 48,281,957 doses.
