Iran logs 344 COVID deaths round the clock

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that 344 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 117,526.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 20, 2021, 5,442,232 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,792,117 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 17,397 cases, out of whom 2,593 patients were hospitalized.

6,707 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 31,113,929 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 57 cities are red, 238 are orange, and 136 are yellow zones, and 17 cities are in the blue zone.

So far, 30,302,983 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 14,120,965 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 44,423,948 doses.
