Iran logs 364 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that 364 of COVID-19 death cases had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 116,436.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 17, 2021, 5,396,013 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,708,195 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 17,605 cases, out of whom 2,537 patients were hospitalized.

6,902 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 30,782,338 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 168 cities are red, 209 are orange, and 71 are yellow zones.

So far, 27,790,835 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 13,459,625 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 41,250,460 doses.
