Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 355 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 116,791.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 18, 2021, 5,408,860 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,736,896 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 12,847 cases, out of whom 2,124 patients were hospitalized.

6,836 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 30,893,103 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 57 cities are red, 238 are orange, and 136 are yellow zones.

So far, 28,382,995 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 13,620,868 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 42,003,863 doses.
