Iran: COVID-19 kills 515 people in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that COVID-19 had killed 515 people during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 110,064.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 04, 2021, 5,103,537 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,332,892 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 20,404 cases, out of whom 3,479 patients were hospitalized.

7,744 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 29,335,572 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 246 cities are red, 144 are orange, and 58 are yellow zones.

So far, 19,340,385 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 9,502,679 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 28,843,064 doses.
