COVID-19 claims 595 lives in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that COVID-19 had claimed 595 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 108,988.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 02, 2021, 5,055,512 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,269,508 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 30,279 cases, out of whom 4,544 patients were hospitalized.

7,831 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 29,119,568 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 306 cities are red, 110 are orange, and 32 are yellow zones.

So far, 19,149,847 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 9,29,143 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 28,442,990 doses.
