Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Friday that COVID-19 had claimed 561 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 109,549.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 03, 2021, a total number of 5,083,133 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,302,11 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 27,621 cases, out of whom 4,061 patients were hospitalized.

7,795 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 29,227,907 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 306 cities are red, 110 are orange, and 32 are yellow zones.

So far, 19,297,582 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 9,407,311 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 28,704,893 doses.
