COVID-19 claimes 709 lives within 24 hrs in Iran

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced that 709 patients had died of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 103,357.

Iran PressIran news:  According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to August 24, 2021, on Tuesday 4,756,394 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 3,993,211 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 40,623 cases, out of whom 5,487 patients were hospitalized.

7,727 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 28,093,587 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 359 cities are red, 59 are orange, and 30 are yellow zones.

So far, 17,233,661 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 6,476,773 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 23,710,434 doses.
