Iran logs 610 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that 610 patients had died of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 102,648.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to August 23, 2021, on Monday 4,715,771 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 3,961,024 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 38,657 cases, out of whom 5,108 patients were hospitalized.

7,695 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 27,974,949 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 359 cities are red, 59 are orange, and 30 are yellow zones.

So far, 16,989,882 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 6,150,817 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 23,137,699 doses.
