357 Iranian COVID-19 patients succumb to death in 24 hours

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that COVID-19 had taken the lives of 357 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 89,479.

Iran PressIran news:  According to the latest data, the total number of COVID-19 patients in the country reached 3,758,197, of which 3,291,979 of them have recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 34,951 cases, out of whom 3,708 patients were hospitalized.

5,100 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 25,667, 604 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 232 cities are red, 117 are orange, and 99 are yellow zones.

So far, 8,474,332 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 2,496,677 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 10,971,009 doses.
