Tehran (IP) - The Secretary-General of the Iranian Red Crescent Society said 193 passengers suspected of having coronavirus was quarantined on the borders of Iran.

Iran PressIran News: Mohammad-Hassan Ghousian-Moghaddam, Secretary-General of the Red Crescent Society of Iran, emphasizing implementing the passenger health control plan in Iran, added: "In the last four months, 487,329 passengers have been screened, and 193 passengers suspected of having Coronavirus have been quarantined.

The Secretary-General of the Red Crescent Society of Iran also said that 68,529 urgent tests and 48,973 PCR tests were taken from suspicious passengers to coronavirus during this period.

According to official statistics, the coronavirus has infected more than 194 million people worldwide, and more than 4 million 169 thousand people have died of COVID-19.
