Daily COVID death toll soaring in Iran: 322 in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that 322 COVID-19 patients had succumbed to death during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 89,122.

 

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings until today, July 26, 2021, 3,723,246 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 3,274,346 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 31,814 cases, out of whom 3,566 patients were hospitalized.

4,982 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 25,601,224 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 232 cities are red, 117 are orange, and 99 are yellow zones.

So far, 8,241,852 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 2,426,697 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 10,668,549 doses.
