A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament has stressed that the current situation in Afghanistan is the result of the US wrong policies.

Iran PressIran News: Referring to the tension in Afghanistan due to the wrong policies of the United States, Fada-Hossein Maleki said: "The wrong policies of the United States in the last two decades have caused all ethnicities and factions in Afghanistan to stand against each other."

Maleki added: "The United States has never fulfilled its obligations to Afghanistan in the United Nations."

Maleki also said that the recent move of the Taliban in Afghanistan was, in fact, a privilege that the United States has agreed on at the negotiating table with the group.

Attacks by the Taliban have intensified, and with the cessation of peace talks, the group intends to pressure the Afghan government to accept its unreasonable demands, including the establishment of the Islamic Emirate and the release of its prisoners.
