COVID deaths within 24 hrs. decline to 122 in Iran

Tehran (IP) - Iran Health Ministry announced on Sunday that COVID-19 had killed 122 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 81,063.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to June 6, 2021, 2,966,364 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,552,401 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 5,612 cases, out of whom 1,027 patients were hospitalized.

3,769 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 20,688,723 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 16 cities are red, 201 are orange, and 231 are yellow zones.

So far, 4,203,784 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 619,795 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 4,823,579 doses.
