Tehran(IP): In order to expand the field of librarianship and information science, the heads of the national libraries of Iran and Indonesia signed a memorandum of understanding cooperation.

Iran PressIran News: "Ashraf Boroujerdi," the head of the National Library and Archives of Iran, on Monday at the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the libraries of Iran and Indonesia, which was attended by "Mohammad Syarif Bando," the director of the National Library of Indonesia said: "Technical details of this memorandum refers to the various topics that can pave the way to  increase the development and exchange between the two countries.”

Boroujerdi added: "In this memorandum, bilateral measures in the field of manuscripts and training for maintenance and development of librarians' knowledge have been considered."

Mohammad Syarif Bando, Director of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia, also said that the signing of the Memorandum of cooperation could expand the cooperation between the two countries in various dimensions.
