Jakarta(IP)- Iranian Foreign Minister met with the Indonesian President in Jakarta, on Monday, discussing further relations.

Iran Press/Asia: During the meeting, Mohammad Javad Zarif stressed Iran's readiness to further develop the brotherly relations between the two countries and appreciated Indonesia's principled positions in the Security Council to maintain the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and implement Resolution 2231.

Referring to his talks with his Indonesian counterpart, Retno Marsudi, Zarif expressed satisfaction with the increase in trade between the two countries and the agreement between the two sides to use the capacity of the Joint Economic Commission and other strategies to strengthen economic relations between the two countries.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo also stressed the need for bilateral consultations to increase trade relations between the two countries.
