Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that COVID-19 had killed 217 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 80,156.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 31, 2021, 2,913,136 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,458,684 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 11,042 cases, out of whom 1,388 patients were hospitalized.

4,160 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 19,936,548 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 13 cities are red, 214 are orange, and 221 are yellow zones.

So far, 3,643,356 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 522,707 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 4,166,063 doses.
