Iran Press/ Iran news: The Public Relations Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education announced in a statement on Friday: From yesterday to today (May 28,) and according to definitive diagnostic criteria, 10,253 new patients with Covid-19 in was identified and 1,532 of them were hospitalized and the total number of Covid-19 patients in the country reached 2,886,111.
The Ministry of Health added: So far, 2 million and 410,252 patients have recovered or been discharged from hospitals. 4,383 patients with Covid-19 are also being cared for in the intensive care units of hospitals, and 19,550,558 Covid-19 diagnostic tests have been performed in the country.
According to the report, 13 cities in the country are now in red, 214 in orange, and 221 in yellow. No city is in a state of blue
The Ministry of Health also announced: "So far, 3,138,333 people have received the first dose of Corona vaccine, and 499,040 people have received the second dose and been vaccinated. The total number of injected vaccines in the country reached 3,637,373 doses.
