Tehran (IP) - The head of the Electronics Industries Organization of Iran's Defense Ministry said the ministry so far indigenized 709 defense systems in the country.

Iran Press/Iran News:  In a TV interview on Monday, Brigadier General Shahrokh Shahram said: "In recent years, we have seen a doubled increase in the field of parts manufacturing, and in the electronic and cyber warfare that is prevalent in the world, we have seen an acceptable growth."

General Shahram said Iran's domestic defense systems became resilient which meant being resilient to the enemies' identified threats.

"We have used these domestic systems more confidently in times of sanctions and threats," he noted.

He said that in the subsurface and aerospace, Iran's defense systems were resistant and all were equipped with intelligent cyber warfare and counter-cyber systems. 101
