Tehran (IP) - Iranian Government Spokesman stated in a press conference that with the failure of Trump's economic war against Iran, the country's economic relations are entering a 'post-sanctions' phase.

Iran PressIran News: Ali Rabiei said: "We have not forgotten that the US had focused on us and its regional allies never stopped their conspiracies. However, despite all the hardships and sufferings, Iran has remained firm and stable."

"Iran is on the path of growth and development," noted Rabiei.

Rabiei also said that the warmongers could not impose a new war on Iran, adding: "We have developed the infrastructure and also a resilient economy inside the country. At the same time, we have expanded knowledge-based companies in the country."

He also went on to say that the window of opportunity is very limited not only for the United States but also for the European members of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Answering a question about possible contact between Iran and the Biden administration, Rabiei said: "We have not had any talks or contacts with the new US administration at the moment. We look forward to the official position of the US Government on how to return to their commitments and the lifting of illegal sanctions as an integral part of these commitments."

He said: "At the moment, there are no plans to negotiate with the United States, and any progress in this regard will depend on the practical steps taken by the US to return to its obligations under Resolution 2231; Of course, the US will not have time forever, and the window of opportunity is very limited not only for the United States but also for the European members of the JCPOA."
