Morrocan activists stage protest on normalization of ties with Isreal

Morocco (IP) - With Moroccan-Israeli ties announced normalized, the legal activists and associations in the Moroccan National Working Group to Support the Palestinian Nation condemned the move.

Iran PressAfrica: Morocco announced yesterday, Thursday, that it will resume official contacts and diplomatic relations with the Israeli regime as soon as possible.

One Moroccan activist condemned the normalization a called the Israeli regime an entity that makes conspiracy against the country's territorial integrity and social solidarity, trying to divide morocco into six parts.  In a Thursday tweet, Trump wrote: "Morocco recognized the United States in 1777.  It is thus fitting we recognize their sovereignty over Western Sahara."

Another Moroccan activist also said: "If the reopening of Israeli-Moroccan liaison offices is the cost that Morocco has paid for Donald Trump's recognition of Moroccan rule in the desert, it means a ransom and has nothing to do with diplomatic success."

US President Donald Trump wrote on his Twitter account on Thursday evening that Morocco had announced its readiness to normalize relations with the Israeli regime.

Following the announcement of Morocco's normalization agreement with the Zionist regime, the King of Morocco Muhammad the 6th made a telephone conversation with the head of the Palestinian Authority (PA) Mahmoud Abbas last evening to justify his betrayal of the Palestinian cause.

Morocco is the sixth Arab state to normalize relations with the Israeli regime, after Jordan, Egypt, the UAE, Bahrain, and Sudan.

The UAE, Bahrain, and Sudan have normalized relations with the regime in recent months through US mediation.
