Welcoming the normalization of relations between Sudan and the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu called the Sudanese government's compromising act as a move towards peace.

Iran Press/Middle East: US President Donald Trump on Friday announced the normalization of relations between Sudan and the Zionist regime.

Meanwhile, the United States, the Zionist regime and the transitional government of Sudan issued a joint statement in this regard.

These agreements have been widely criticized in the Islamic world.

Sudan's party leader Sadiq al-Mahdi on Friday warned the military rulers and the transitional government of the consequences of normalizing relations with the Zionist regime.

Al-Sadiq al-Raziqi, president of the Sudanese Journalists' Association, also stressed that Sudanese are opposed to normalizing relations with the Zionist regime.

The Sudanese Islamic Jurisprudence Council recently issued a statement banning establishing any ties to the Zionist regime.

In recent months, the normalization of relations between some Arab regimes in the region and Israel has intensified.

The Arab regimes are trying to normalize relations with Israel, while the Zionist regime has been occupying many Arab-Islamic areas for years in addition to repressing the Palestinians.
