Iran Press/Middle East: Yemeni Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf reacted to the Khartoum-Tel Aviv compromise agreement in a press statement, strongly condemning it.
He stressed that the normalization of relations between the new Sudanese officials and the Zionist regime will not weaken the strength of the resistance-oriented positions.
Hisham Sharaf added: "The announcement of the normalization of relations between Sudan and the Zionist regime in the current situation is the result of the financial and political dependence of the Sudanese government on the Saudi-UAE coalition (against Yemen). They are trying to get closer to the US government and the Zionist lobby, and by completely normalizing their relations with Tel Aviv, they separated themselves from Muslim and Arab nations.
The Foreign Minister of the Yemeni National Salvation Government noted that the price that Sudanese leaders have paid to withdraw from the US terrorist sanctions list and normalize their relations with the occupying regime will not only not lead the country out of the current crisis, but its consequences may also make the situation in this country more critical.
He said that the fate of some Arab countries in hastening to normalize relations without adhering to the unified positions of the Arab world in defending the rights of the Palestinians is doomed to failure.
Sudan yesterday, as the third Arab country to compromise with the Zionist regime after the UAE and Bahrain, officially agreed on the full normalization of relations with Tel Aviv.
Earlier, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain agreed on the full normalization of diplomatic relations following the US President's efforts to facilitate the normalization of relations between the Arab regimes and the Zionist regime.
