Rio de Janeiro (IP) - Supported by the Joint Palestinian Support Campaign in Brazil and invited by over 200 NGOs, hundreds of Palestinian supporters gathered in Cinelândia Square, Rio de Janeiro, near the G20 summit venue.

Iran PressAmerica: Palestinian supporters protested against the genocide in Gaza and Lebanon and condemned the support provided by the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Canada to the occupying Israeli regime. They expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine and Lebanon and condemned the United States and Western countries for their complicity in the Israeli regime's genocide.

A Brazilian activist named Gustavo said, "I condemn the Israeli regime for committing genocide in Gaza and Lebanon, and I hold the United States and Western countries responsible for continuing to supply weapons to this regime." He stressed that the United States provides strong support to the Israeli regime and noted that even after the November 5 U.S. presidential election, the situation has not changed, and the genocide in Gaza and Lebanon continues.

Another protester, Paulo, voiced his concerns amidst the heavy police and security presence. "We have gathered here to let the G20 summit know that we oppose the presence of the US President and European leaders in Brazil because they are complicit in the genocide in Gaza and Lebanon," he said.
