Karachi (IP) – Pakistan has sent a significant relief consignment to Gaza and Lebanon, as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to support communities affected by the escalating Israeli crimes in the region.

Iran PressAsia: The latest shipment, organized by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), includes approximately 100 tons of essential supplies such as medicines, food, tents, and winter necessities.

The relief supplies were flown from Jinnah International Airport in Karachi to Beirut, Lebanon, marking the twelfth such consignment from Pakistan to Palestine and Lebanon. Of these, ten shipments were previously sent to Palestine, while this is the second batch of aid delivered to Lebanon.

Ongoing Humanitarian Support

Pakistan's government continues its efforts to provide relief in response to the urgent needs of war-torn populations in Gaza and Lebanon. This aid package, facilitated by a Pakistani NGO, has been coordinated with the Prime Minister's Office, NDMA, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The relief consignment includes:
- 50 tons of life-saving medicines
- 15 tons of ready-to-eat meat
- 9 tons of tents
- 5 tons of tarpaulins
- 4 tons of winter bedding
- 2 tons of winter clothing
- 5 tons of dry milk

Upon arrival in Beirut, the supplies will be received by Pakistan's ambassador to Lebanon and distributed to those in need, particularly in areas severely impacted by the ongoing Israeli violence.
