Tehran (IP) - Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei attended a mourning ceremony held in the Hussainiyah of Imam Khomeini on Friday, October 16, 2020, on the anniversary of the passing of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Iran Press/Iran news: This year, the mourning ceremony was held without public participation due to the coronavirus outbreak and in accordance with the protocols declared by the National Coronavirus Campaign and Prevention Headquarters.

Friday 28 Safar 1442 AH, equal to October 16, 2020, is the anniversary of the pass-away of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and the martyrdom of Imam Hassan Mojtaba (AS), the second Imam of the Shias of the world.

Before his demise in 11 AH, the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) compassionately stated the rules and principles of the Prophetic Shari'a (Islam religion) in a pleasant and at the same time firm manner, trying to promote and spread the teachings of the Islam and guide it in the best possible way.
