The art of woodwork is one of the visual arts and is more popular among artists. Osman Nikmanesh is one of the famous artists of Kurdistan province in the field of wood art.
Visual arts are design-based arts that include painting, calligraphy, sculpture, graphics, joinery, and photography among other ones.
Osman Nikomanesh grew up in Sanandaj, the capital of Kurdistan, and is the creator of the collection of Words of Allah (God Almighty) and has participated in selected national festivals.
The Iranian Kurdish artist started painting as a child without academic training and has also started working on wood since 1985.
The Kurdish artist has participated in more than 80 group and individual exhibitions in different countries around the world and in Iranian cities.
