The Iranian ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the mayor of Sarajevo stressed the need to develop cooperation between the two countries' capitals.

Iran Press/Europe: Mahmoud Heydari, Iran's ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, in a meeting with Sarajevo Mayor Abdullah Skaka on Saturday, referring to the historical and cultural commonalities between the two nations, said that in recent years, these ties have created an opportunity for urban diplomacy between Tehran and Sarajevo to become more active.

The Mayor of Sarajevo, Abdullah Skaka, in this meeting, for his part, praised the efforts of the Iranian Ambassador in establishing relations between the municipalities of Tehran and Sarajevo and expressed hope that the relations between Tehran and Sarajevo would expand further in the future.  101/207
