No need for aliens in region: Air force commander

Tehran (IP) - The commander of Iran's Army Air Force said there is no need for the military presence of the alien countries in Western Asia.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Army airforce commander Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh said in his pre-sermon speech at Friday Prayer, Tehran, that Iran's armed forces can maintain peace and security in the region as well as they can give a tough response to any threat to the country.

Brigadier General Nasirzadeh stressed Iran's army air force support for the axis of resistance and said: "the Islamic Revolution, contrary to other revolutions in the world, is mingled with religion and this fact has frightened its enemies greatly."

The Islamic Revolution of Iran gained victory on February 11, 1979, and is commemorated in the Fajr decade which is a ten-day celebration on the occasion of Imam Khomeini's return to Iran in 1979 and the Islamic Revolution victory.

The ten-day celebration is held annually between Feb 1 to 11. Its beginning coincides with the date of Imam Khomeini's arrival and its ending coincides with the victory of the Iranian Revolution on February 11.
