IASIA, Sharif experts: Plane crash, not by missile

Tehran (IP) - Iranian Aviation and Space Industries Association's (IASIA) experts and Aerospace Engineering graduates of Sharif University denied the possibility of Ukrainian plane being hit by a missile, saying that if a missile had hit the plane it would have totally collapsed amid the sky with its shattered pieces to be found kilometers far.

Iran PressIran news: A group of experts from the Iranian Aviation and Space Industries Association's (IASIA) along with Aerospace Engineering graduates of Sharif University of Technology issued a statement on Friday over the rumors around the Ukrainian plane crashed in Tehran.

They called people for restraint until the black box of the Ukrainian plane crashed in Tehran is analyzed and avoid early judgments.

The statement reads as it  follows:

The footages show the Ukrainian plane is gradually burning with flames increasing in the sky and as it hit land explodes due to the surpass of fuel.

All defense systems are equipped with Identification Friend and Foe (IFF) system

All defense systems are equipped with the Identification Friend and Foe (IFF) system, automatically distinguishing passenger plane as friend plane; before and after the flight of plane in question, dozens of both domestic and international flights kept on activity.

Iranian air defense systems, capable of detecting US Global Hawk stealth drone

The Iranian air defense systems that have detected and intercepted the US Global Hawk stealth drone at a height of 25,000 feet, distinguishing it from its adjacent US military 31-passenger aircraft have unlikely made an error to detect the Ukrainian plane the name of which was registered at the flight schedule of Imam Khomeini Airport.

The pilot also began to return to the airport after the plane caught fire, lowering its altitude; if a missile had hit the plane it would have totally collapsed amid the sky with its shattered pieces to be found kilometers far, yet the footages showed that the plane hit the ground with its remnants shattered in a near distance.

The Boeing 737 with most fatal accidents

The Boeing 737 has had the most fatal accidents in the last 15 years (10 fatalities with more than 1100 dead), which has led to the loss and dismissal of Boeing's CEO and the downfall of its stocks, and the recent crash was a major blow to the corporation.

So a media campaign is formed against Iran to replace the killer and victim position, whereas the killer is the very US manufacturer of Boeing 737.

Iranian flight engineer did not approve of the plane's safety

Also, after primary investigations, it was found that the Iranian flight engineer did not approve of the plane's safety, yet with the insistence of the Ukrainian flight team and the pilot's accepting the responsibility, the plane flew.

Finally, it is essential to wait until the plane's Flight Data Recorder (FDR) and the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR), as well as its remnants, are precisely examined, and unsubstantiated speculations are avoided to no more afflict the victims' families and the general public.

The plane belonging to Ukrainian airlines crashed near Tehran minutes after the take-off from Imam Khomeini Airport after its engine caught fire. All the 167 passengers and 9 crew members were killed in the crash.

During the past 15 months, two crashes involving the US Boeing Max 737 plane occurred, calling into question the safety of this kind of airplane.

In March 2019, more than 157 people were killed in a crash of a Boeing Max 737 belonging to the Ethiopian Airlines. Also, 189 people were killed due to the crash of a Boeing Max 737 belonging to Indonesian airline in October 2018.
