On the second day of the Iranian Navy's massive war games in the Caspian Sea, the navy demonstrated its high-speed boats and rocket-launching frigates.

Iran Press/Iran news: On the second day of Navy's massive war games in Iran's territorial waters in the Caspian Sea, missile-launching warships and helicopters displayed their capabilities in the military exercises. Navy commandos also displayed their skills in the war games.

The Navy marines and commandos managed to capture the mock enemy’s vessels using all sorts of equipment and weapons, including high-speed boats and rocket-launching frigates.

The Navy commandos on board two AB-212 helicopters and rocket launching warships also managed to counter the mock enemy’s offensive operations by adopting combat strategies, relying on intelligence monitoring, and employing radar jamming systems.

“The war game aims to achieve collective security and it is natural that the preparedness of military forces, equipment, and weapons should always be at a significant level in order to reach security,” the top commander of the Iranian Navy Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi said about the four-day military exercises, codenamed “Sustainable Security and Power”.

The Iranian Armed Forces routinely hold military exercises throughout the year.

Iranian officials have repeatedly underscored that the country will not hesitate to strengthen its military capabilities, which are entirely meant for defensive purposes, and that Iran’s defensive capabilities are not negotiable.
