Iran Press /Iran News: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani expressed his congratulations on the anniversary of the establishment of Modern China which is celebrated on October 1.
In a message to his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, president Rouhani congratulated China’s National Day and expressed hope that the two great and civilized Asian countries would witness expansion of relations in various areas given the history of cooperation between the two countries.
He also added: "I wish your Excellency health and success and the people of China prosperity and felicity."
First Vice-President Es'haq Jahangiri also in a separate message congratulated the anniversary of the establishment of People's Republic of China, and said that the strategic economic relations between Iran and China will be materialized with cooperation.
He reminded the historic and cordial nature of relations between the two countries and said Tehran and Beijing can deepen their ties through moving from trade to strategic economic relations.
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman also congratulated China on the occasion of National Day. On Tuesday, through a message via tweeter, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi expressed hope that Iran and China would deepen and develop their strategic relations more than before.
In his message, Mousavi wished prosperity and success for the great Chinese nation and government.
