Zarif meets members of Iran-Kuwait parliamentary friendship group

The Iranian foreign minister met and conferred with members of the Iran-Kuwait parliamentary friendship group in Kuwait city on Saturday night.

Iran Press/Iran news: Mohammad Javad Zarif discussed a range of issues, including friendly and well-established ties between Tehran and Kuwait, regional issues including the situation in occupied Palestine, the need for cooperation between regional countries in the Persian Gulf, US sanctions against Iran, America's economic terrorism, and various other issues with members of the Iran-Kuwait parliamentary friendship group.

Zarif arrived in Kuwait on Saturday afternoon for meetings and consultations with senior Kuwaiti officials.

He is due to leave Kuwait on Sunday. Zarif is also expected to meet and exchange ideas with his Kuwaiti counterpart, discussing bilateral ties and regional issues.
