Iran Press/Middle East: Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah made the remarks in a meeting with Special Assistant to the Speaker of Parliament (Majlis) of Iran Hossein Amir Abdollahian, stressing that Washington will definitely not be the one who determines the end of such a scenario.
Nasrallah described resistance as the sole and most efficient option in the face of the Israeli regime’s crimes, acts of aggression and excessive demands, IRNA reported.
Commenting on Palestine issue, Nasrallah lauded Iran’s political and democratic plan for a referendum among all historic residents of Palestine, inclusive of Muslims, Christians and Jews, as realistic and logical.
He appreciated Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Iranian nation and government’s firm and effective supports for establishing peace and security in the region, especially in Lebanon.
As the Islamic Revolution Leader said the US is not able to impose military war against Iran, he said, adding that White House knows that any aggression against Iran will drag the entire Middle East into disarray.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Nasrallah described Zionists as cause of corruption and insecurity in the region.
For his part, Amir Abdollahian congratulated the anniversary of Lebanon victory in 33-year war.
The two sides discussed the latest regional and international developments and the bilateral political and parliamentary relations between Tehran and Beirut.
