Yemeni air force conducts fresh attack on Saudi air base and airport

The Air Force of the Yemeni army carried out several attacks against King Khalid airbase in Saudi Arabia, with a number of homemade Qasef-2K drones equipped with various missiles.

Iran PressMiddle East: The Air Force of the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees, on Thursday, carried out several attacks against King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait in Saudi Arabia’s Asir region with a number of homemade Qasef-2K drones, and the Yemeni Army's missile division using ballistic missiles to target Saudi airports.

"Air Force carried out - thanks to God - several attacks on King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait with a number of Qasef-2K drones," Armed forces spokesman Brigadier General, Yahya Saree said in a brief statement.

Saree explained that Qasef-2K drones targeted with high accuracy military targets at the base.

The brigadier-general vowed more operations, saying: "Our operations continue as long as the aggression and siege on our country continues."

And also, Rocketry Force of the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees, on Thursday, fired a barrage of Badr-1 ballistic missile on Quat Al-Wajib military airport and camp in Najran, as part of the legitimate response to the crimes of US-Saudi aggression against the Yemeni people.

Brigadier General Saree said the attack targeted warplanes and reconnaissance hangers at the airport, as well as other military targets.

The Saudi regime and a number of its allies including the United Arab Emirates and Sudan launched a war against Yemen in March 2015, ostensibly to restore fugitive president Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to power.
