Iran's national media head expressed the readiness of Iran Press news agency to have news collaboration with the Belarusian national media.   

Iran Press/Iran news: Abdol-Ali Aliaskari, who is in Belarus, described his talks with his Belarusian counterpart, Ivan Eismont beneficial and expressed hope that his visit to the country could lead to the enhancement of relations between Iran and Belarus' national media.

Embracing any future interactions between the two countries' media, the IRIB head said with regard to news that the IRIB's Iran Press News Agency along with other parts is ready to have news cooperation, Iran Press reported.  

Belarus' national media, head Ivan Eismont for his part described Iran's national media as a fully professional organization with high technical capabilities.

"It was a very beneficial and sincere meeting. With the cooperation memorandum of understanding signed, we will witness an increase in collaborations," he said.

Iran's Aliaskari also had a meeting with Belarus' minister of culture, Yuri Bondar in the ministry's complex.   

Bondar described culture as one of the most important issues in human societies adding: "to counter the elements threatening to the culture we are interested in having close cooperation with such a resistive and culture-rich country like Iran."  

He said that Iran's radio and TV are at the forefront of defending cultural limits.

He expressed hope that the two countries' cooperation in strengthening cultural relations bears brilliant results.

The head of Iran's national media also said for his part that if nations' autonomy of culture and identity are not protected, their independence is also gradually undermined and probably in case of an incident bring about social and even political problems.

He expressed hope that the cooperation between Iran and Belarus could lead to the protection of identity and culture of the two countries.
