Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in an interview with BBC Zeinab Badawi in New York

Iranian Foreign Minister said that the Iranians will sell their oil but will never sell their honor.

Iran PressAmerica: In the sidelines of his trip to New York, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif had an interview with BBC’s Zeinab Badawi on Monday, saying, “We will eventually sell our oil but we will never sell our honor!”

Zarif is in New York to take part in the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC)’s annual High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF), Iran Press reported.

Upon arrival, he called on the European states to invest in measures to save the nuclear deal from falling apart, saying Tehran hasn’t seen any move so far.

"Although the Europeans claim that they want to save Iran's nuclear deal, it seems they are not ready for investment to do so," Zarif told the press as he arrived in New York.
