Tehran (IP) - Iranian Minister of Information and Communications Technology said on Saturday that Iran will send "an Astronaut into space".

Iran Press/Iran News: Mohammad-Javad Azari Jahromi in the opening ceremony of World Space Week in Tehran on Saturday said that Iran space agency with the cooperation of other countries will send "an Iranian Astronaut" into space.

The Minister of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) said by 2021 (just two years from now, 1400 in Iranian solar calendar) we will send an operational satellite into space capable of taking high-resolution photographs with a resolving power able to distinguish objects less than  1-meter apart, Iran Press reported.
