Sanaa (IP) - A center in Yemen's capital, Sanaa, is providing students with uniforms and school kits including stationery and school bags.

Iran Press/Middle East: This center that is run by Yemen's Ministry of Education and several Non-governmental organizations (NGOs), aimed to help students to return to classrooms.

Yemen's Ministry of Education and NGOs, hope to help children deprived of education, to return to classrooms by measures like organizing such centers.

Since March 2015, Yemen has been heavily bombarded by Saudi warplanes as part of a brutal military campaign against the impoverished nation.

Saudi-led war has claimed the lives of over 60,000 Yemenis.

The campaign has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s infrastructure, destroying hospitals, schools, and factories.

According to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the war in Yemen has resulted in shutting down the doors of more than 3,584 schools.

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) said in a statement last week that 2 million children in Yemen are out of school and nearly 3.7 million students are in desperate need of help to return to school.
