Iran Press/ Iran news: Mohammad-Hassan Qousian Moqaddam said the consignment of one million doses of coronavirus vaccine had arrived at Imam Khomeini Airport today through the Red Cross Society of China.
Earlier, COVID vaccines, including the Russian 'Sputnik V', Baharat 'COVAXIN' of India, and Oxford's 'Astrazeneca', were permitted for emergency use in Iran.
The Iranian Health Ministry also announced on Saturday that 889,095 people in the country had received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 211,822 people had received the second dose.
The total number of vaccines injected in Iran reached 1,100,917 doses.
