Tehran (IP) - The first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran described the crimes committed by the Israeli regime in the Gaza Strip as a symbol of the rule of injustice in today's world and said that the perpetrators of this crime against humanity must be tried.

Iran PressIran news: According to the Iran Press news agency, Mohammed Mokhber, the first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Monday, during the meeting with Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, first deputy speaker of the parliament, appreciated the good positions of the government and the parliament of this country regarding the issues of Gaza and added:

"During the Zionist regime's war against the Palestinian people, all the prominent powers of the world have gathered with all the means, but they could not harm the standing and resistance of the people of this region, for this reason, they have committed murders and crimes against women, children, and civilians."

The first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated:

"Unfortunately, the world assemblies have fallen into a death-like silence, and Muslims and other independent governments must come to the field and help the oppressed Palestinian nation."

Mokhber referred to the Israeli regime, ISIL, and the like as America's proxy army and added:

"These groups appear in the region every day at the request of the United States, and the governments and nations of the region are ready to confront them. They should always be ready and alert."

The first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran further described Tehran-Baghdad relations as broad and strong and added:

"Apart from the political and economic issues, the relations between Iran and Iraq are rooted in the culture of the two countries and the deep interest of the two nations in each other, a clear example of which is the all-round support of the Iranian people for the presence of the martyr Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani who was the former commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps in Iraq to fight ISIS."

Mohsen Al-Mandalawi also described the relations between the two countries as long-standing, strategic, and fraternal and appreciated the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially the martyr Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, in the fight against the ISIS terrorist outfit.

The first deputy speaker of the Iraqi Parliament stated that fortunately the situation in Iraq has returned to normal today, and added: "The Iraqi Parliament supports the government of this country in all fields and also supports the peaceful nuclear program of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
