Tehran (IP) - Popular rally is underway in front of the UN's office in Tehran in protest to the US assassination of the Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, the late Commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).

Iran Press/ Iran news: The late Commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) martyred Lieutenant-General Qasem Soleimani and the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were assassinated by the terrorist US air raid in Baghdad, Iraq's capital.

United States Department of Defense released a statement, saying the US ordered an airstrike that martyred the commander of Iran's Quds Force, martyred Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, at Baghdad International Airport.
