Iran Press/ Iran News: The Representative of Meshkinshar while referring to the expectation of the people of North-Western Iran to have a representative in the 13th administration, stressed that the cabinet should serve as the symbol of national unity.
Chaired by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran's parliament started reviewing the qualification of the proposed ministers of the new administration on Sunday morning by examining the competence of the proposed Minister of Information and Communications Technology, Issa Zarepour.
Mahmoud Abbaszadeh-Meshkini, as an opponent said that the introduced minister does not have enough expertise and experience in the field of communications.
Referring to the high turnover of this ministry, he emphasized that Issa Zarepour does not have a history of executive management to run such a ministry.
Meshkini emphasized that the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology as a strategic ministry needs strategic expertise and experience.
Lawmaker Ali Asghar Annabestani also said: "Zarepour has only stated the challenges of this field and suggestions about its strategies and has not provided an operational solution."
Ghani Nazari, another opponent of the proposed the Minister of Information and Communications Technology, said that the lack of transparency in him was the main reason for his incompetence because he agreed in one commission to the plan to protect cyberspace, but in another commission opposed it.
Nazari noted that the proposed minister lacked programs for ICT in rural areas.
