Iran Press/ Iran news: Ghoshttabeh (meat) is one of the traditional and local foods of Markazi province and is one of the most popular foods in Arak, and is a good source of essential proteins for the body.
Ingredients:
Freshly chopped parsley and coriander: 4 tbsp
Basil: 2 tbsp
Mint: 1.5 tbsp
Fenugreek: 1.5 tbsp
Tarragon: 1.5 tbsp
Savory: 1 tbsp
Minced meat: 300 g
Potatoes: 2, coarsely chopped
Tomato paste: 3 tbsp
Oil: 1 tbsp
Salt, pepper, lemon juice
How to cook:
Knead the meat and vegetables and some salt and pepper and take a tablespoon of the ingredients and flatten it a little by hand until the balls are 2-3 cm in diameter.
Fry the meats in a little oil.
For the sauce, dip the paste slightly in the remaining oil and add 2 cups of water, when the sauce boils, put the fried meat in it to cook.
Fry the chopped potatoes in a little oil.
After half an hour of cooking the meat, add a little lemon juice and salt to the sauce and give the ingredients another 10 minutes, then add the fried potatoes in the meat sauce and serve either with rice or bread.
