Iranian MP on the eve of '13 Aban memorial' and 'capture of the US Den of Spies' in Tehran on 4 November 1979, by revolutionary students, has called for the publishing of documents seized from the former US embassy in Tehran.

Iran PressIran news: Ahad AzadiKhah, Iranian MP and representative of people of Malayer in the Majlis (Iranian Parliament) called on parliamentarians and government officials to follow the recommendation of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and to publish the documents collected from the former US embassy in Tehran known as the "den of espionage".

In a speech to the parliament's open session on Saturday, the MP representing the city of Malayer, Ahad AzadiKhah also congratulated the nation and the revolutionary youth of Iran on the anniversary of 13 Aban (or 4 November), which has been designated as Student Day in Iran.

On 4 November 1979 (corresponding to 13th Aban 1357 on the Iranian calendar) a very important event in the struggles of the Iranian people for freedom from foreign hegemony occurred when revolutionary students following the path of Imam Khomeini captured the former US embassy building in Tehran, known as "the Den of Spies".

In another speech, a member of Iran's parliament advised the US government to abandon its misguided and ill-intentioned policies.

Speaking at Majlis open session on Sunday, the MP representing the people of Semnan, Gholamreza Kateb, congratulated the Iranian nation on the occasion of 13 Aban (4 November), the anniversary of the capture of former US embassy in Tehran.

The MP advised the US government to stop its mischievous policies, saying: "The United States should know that it will always be hated by the Iranian people as long as it persists with its evil policies."

A member of Iran's parliament called on all parliamentarians, authorities and government officials to learn from American conspiracies.

Hossein Ali Haji Deligani, the representative of the people of Shahin Shahr, Mayme, Barkhar in the Iranian parliament quoted the commander of the IRGC as saying that eight and a half million people were killed by US intervention in various parts of the world.

The open session of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) began on Saturday chaired by Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani.

Speaking at the Majlis' open session, Larijani pointed to Aban 13 (November 4)-- Student Day -- and describing the day as a symbol of the struggle against colonialism, which represents the depth of the thinking of Iranian students and intellectuals.  207/211/205
