In Tehran, a speech will be delivered to the demonstrators by the top commander of the IRGC, Major General Mohammad Ali Ja'fari.

39 years ago, on this day (November 4,1979), Iranian students seized the US embassy (den of espionage) in Tehran in protest of numerous US plots against the Islamic Revolution.

On this historic day (November 4), two other vital events took place in Iran's history and the struggles of the Iranian people for freedom from foreign hegemony and domestic despotism, which are the exile of the Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (God bless his soul) in 1964 and the killing of a large number of youths in 1978 by the former authoritarian regime.

Every year on this day, the Iranian people demonstrate national unity and coherence, participating in the national march and shouting the slogans of the Islamic Revolution which are independence, freedom, the Islamic Republic and the struggle against arrogant powers. 211/103
