Iran Press/Iran news: "We say the last word first, we take a hard, firm, regretful, and finishing revenge," Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Major General Hossein Salami said at the funeral procession of late Lieutenant-General Qasem Soleimani and his companions.
"In the battle against US, we have dedicated great martyrs, a loyal, and brave commander of the Islamic Revolution who has never been seen in the human history as the commander of the hearts of the Islamic world Qasem Soleimani, General Salami mentioned.
He described the personality dimensions of Soleimani as inexplicable and said: "While he was a strong commander, he was very modest, and the degree of burden on him did not make him arrogant."
"He was the architect of US failure, noting that General Soleimani has failed US strategy to undermine the security of the Islamic world. Haj Qasem Soleimani did not allow Zionist enemies and criminal US to weaken his power and did not make their dream come true," Commander Salami said.
The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps noted, "He has prevented Yemen from defeating by the US and the Zionists, and Haj Qasem Soleimani has already taken his revenge, but we will take his revenge."
"They always know that you have always been an opportunity for us and that you have made an opportunity out of sanctions. You have always made an opportunity for us," he said.
Earlier, the body of the late Lieutenant-General Qasem Soleimani and his martyred companions, who were assassinated by the US, arrived in the city of Kerman for burial at his hometown.
At least 7 million people in the Iranian capital of Tehran on Monday took to the streets to bid farewell to Lt. Gen. Soleimani and his companions at the event, according to preliminary estimates and field surveys.
Soleimani, who had traveled to Iraq at the official invitation of the Iraqi government, was martyred in the US drone terrorist attack.
